And now, for a photo-free update

I've finally sat down at my computer again with the intent to sort photos. I love taking pictures; I loathe sorting through them. I was clever this time, though! I also got a piece of paper and a pen and made a list of dates and the number of days into the year each date was. This is helpful because I keep all my 366 blogs files in one folder filled with compressed photos titled based on how many days into the year we were when the photo was taken. Unfortunately, I've missed a handful of days which has led to me getting off in my numbering. For instance, the picture of the evening sky in Bristow, VA right below this post was numbered Day 85. It was taken on March 28, which was actually the eighty-eighth day of the year. Having a visual account of dates and days has helped me work things out a bit nicer. I also now have a list of which photo will get which number, so maybe I might even get around to uploading them and even, gasp, doing another retrospective.

What's coming up? A lot more pictures of the inside of my bedroom. I've given up trying to get out more to take photos. It's become an interesting challenge to take different pictures of the space I live in. Hopefully, some of those photos will get uploaded in the near future.

I finally started editing my recent photos for the web. I'm working off a new laptop that runs Linux instead of Windows, so there was a bit of a learning curve with new software. There are a handful of missed days thrown in this most recent batch. Sorry. Hopefully, before the weekend is out I'll be caught up on my posting.
